I also won’t read minds. Been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. Now, I’ll happily dispatch anyone trying to destroy the world.

But work with a hippy dippy wood elf? My Magic 8 Ball says “Not for all the jalapeño chips in the world” (and I LOVE jalapeño chips).

Unfortunately, I’m stuck with the tree-hugging, long-eared lughead, so I’ve got to figure out how to make this work.

Even easier, since I was already running from a secret left long behind in the elven realm. I haven’t shared it with anyone, especially my human dualcaster partner.
