Cozy Vales is Open!

After months of behind the scenes work, I and a group of talented authors launched a new shared world: Cozy Vales!

One World. Many Stories.

While every story is set in the cozy fantasy world of the Cozy Vales queendom, each author brings their own unique voice, tone, and vision.

Some are small, slice of life tales. Others are a bit more adventurous. But they’re all cozy!

So, what’s the world of Cozy Vales like? Here’s a testimonial from someone who has explored nearly every square inch of the queendom:

An excerpt from Intara’s Guide to Cozy Vales:

“I have traveled the majority of my life—the better part of six decades—and have spent much of that time savoring the sights, sounds, and smells of the Cozy Vales Queendom.

Many eschew the vales because of the difficulty traversing the countless foothills and mountains separating the collection of valleys. Many feel the citizens of the vales are only concerned with where their next cup of tea or biscuit will come from. Many find it a boring and relatively uninteresting land.

To those, I say the following:

  • the friction of difficult trips sparks surprising insights

  • the simple pleasures in life are also the most pleasurable

  • you have never experienced the Floating Feast Festival off the coast of Turtle Bay Vale

To you, dear reader, I say get thee to the Cozy Vales Queendom as soon as the fates allow. This thin guide is meant to simply whet your appetite for more.

And there is more—far more—in Cozy Vales.

It is a land filled with wonders to behold unlike any in the rest of the known world: the perfectly toasted and buttered slice of sourdough; sunsets that will fill you with awe and strike your tongue into silence; and delightfully friendly folk whose hospitality should be the envy of every civilized society.”
