Exploring Serial Storytelling on Amazon Vella

I’m over halfway through my first serial storytelling adventure, and I’m loving it! The book is called Runed, and I’m publishing it exclusively on Amazon’s Vella platform.

The story is straight-up urban fantasy. High on action, low on romance. Magic. Monsters. Mysteries.

How does Vella work?

The first three episodes of every story are free. After that, you can unlock episodes with tokens (Amazon gives everyone at least 200 free tokens to kick off their Vella experience).

I publish new episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each one is around 1,000 words, so they’re fast reads.
